Mobile Vet Services
Most of what your pet needs from a vet can happen in your lounge room. A consultation at home runs the same way it would in a clinic: a full examination, a clear explanation of what we found, and a plan you can act on. The difference is that your dog stays on their own bed, your cat skips the carrier, and you skip the waiting room.
Every visit brings a vet and a registered nurse, so most treatment happens on the spot. We carry the common medications and vaccines, and scripts, certificates and referral letters are emailed to you after the visit.
Some things do need a clinic: surgery, X-rays and ultrasound, and anything that calls for overnight monitoring. When that is the case we say so plainly, refer you to a clinic, send your pet's history ahead, and pick the care back up at home afterwards.
Home visit or clinic?
Most check-ups and treatments can happen at home. A few need a clinic's equipment or an overnight stay, and for those we refer you.
At your home
- Check-ups and sick pet consultations
- Pet vaccinations at home for puppies, kittens and adult pets
- Microchipping, skin and ear care, lump checks and mobility checks
- Sedation for pets that cannot be groomed safely while awake
- At-home pet euthanasia, with cremation through Cornerstone if you want it
At a clinic
- X-rays and ultrasound
- Desexing and other surgery
- Hospital stays and overnight monitoring
- Emergencies and after-hours care
How booking works
- Request a visit on the booking form. When you enter your postcode, it shows your travel fee and the days we visit your area.
- Pick a preferred date. We contact you by phone, text or email to confirm the day and an estimated arrival time.
- Before we arrive, have a quiet room or a safe outdoor area ready, with any previous vet records and a list of your pet's medications.
- On the day, Dr Kristina Fisher and Andrew Colquhoun come to you. A standard home visit is $125 plus the travel fee for your suburb, and the pricing guide lists the prices for common services.
